St Alphonsa Public School & Junior College, Kudamaloor, is a prestigious institution founded in honor of St Alphonsa, the first officially canonized Indian Saint. Born in Kudamaloor, St Alphonsa spent her early years on the very grounds where the school now stands. A teacher by profession and a nun by calling, she devoted her life to guiding children with a deep love that transcended social boundaries.
